About

Observability shouldn't cost as much as the software it's watching.

Most observability vendors price for their go-to-market, not your engineering reality — per-host, per-seat, per-feature, with the essentials locked behind an enterprise tier. 24Observe takes the opposite approach: one platform, transparent pricing, and every capability available on every plan.

THE THESIS

Monitoring is a commodity.

Pinging a URL on an interval is not a moat. Checking a TCP port is not a moat. Validating a TLS cert is not a moat. The feature set in this category has been solved for a decade. What's not commodified is the billing. That's what we're correcting.

THE DEAL

Convenience, not captivity.

No "free for <n seats" carve-outs, no enterprise tier gating the security features. One transparent price for the hosted platform, and a fully self-hostable deployment path when you want it on your own hardware. We charge for convenience, never for control of your data.

THE BUILD

Boring on purpose.

We picked battle-tested tooling on every layer. Nothing bespoke, nothing "AI-native", nothing you'd lose sleep operating. The reason it's cheap is that it's standard, not because we cut corners.

THE PROMISE

No lock-in, by design

Your data and your deployment stay portable. The platform has a fully self-hostable path that runs on modest hardware, plus continuous backups of your data — so you keep complete control and continuity, independent of any single vendor.

What we don't do (yet)

Honest inventory.

If you need these today, we're not the fit yet. We'll say so on a sales call too — don't buy something that'll disappoint your team.

APM / traces
Not yet. Datadog is the incumbent here; we haven't moved into the tracing plane.
RUM
Not yet. If real-user monitoring is your primary use case, look elsewhere.
Log aggregation (your app's logs)
Hosted plans don't ingest your application logs. Use a dedicated log product for that.
SOC 2 / ISO 27001
In progress, not certified. Self-host is the compliance answer until then.
Multi-region synthetic checks
Single-region today. Adding EU + APAC regions on the roadmap.

Built in public. Priced like it.

Every commit, every architectural decision, every line — in the repo.
